The dragon could be an outcast. Maybe some of the night furies know it exists, and some don't (like Toothless)

Yeah. That makes sense. With albino animals, they're really sensitive to light so it would make sense and even be in its nature to hunt at night. However, since it's white, it will have more trouble hunting at night than the other night furies. Sort of a "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" situation.

It could also happen that the clan was protecting and caring for the albino. It could have left rather than continue being a burden or maybe was forced out? Not sure which I like but I should be good anything.  |

Not really knowing the current night fury characters, I don't know how they would react to a "different" dragon.
