These rules are subject to change as I see the need. You will be notified if they are changed in any way. If you see someone breaking these rules, please send me a private message. Consequences vary depending on the offense.
Out of Character
1. Be respectful of anyone and everyone. If there's a problem alert a staff member.
2. Watch your language. I mean, I curse a lot, but not on this site. A curse here and there is fine, but don't overdo it.
3. Please be active. Once we have enough members I'm going to post an activity check every month.
4. Be as literate as you can. Try to use spell check and proper grammar. If English isn't your first language, let me know and I'll be more forgiving for you.
5. This site and all its content must be PG-13 or milder. Please keep that in mind.
6. Graphics are great. I love art, I really do. But please don't steal from other people. Give credit where it's due.
In Character
1. One account per member. You can have as many characters as you can keep active.
2. Canon characters come with their dragon(s), if they have any. For example, if a member claimed Eret, they would also play Skullcrusher.
3. Members can create wild dragons and play as them. These dragons can be tamed with permission from their player. Once tame, they are still played by the original member and not the trainer.
4. You can create a dragon along with their trainer and play them both as well.
5. Don't kill or seriously wound another character without their player's permission.
6. No taking over other characters without permission or creating invincible characters. That's just rude.
7. Both humans and dragons must be at least 10 years old to play.
8. The in-character word count is at least 200 words. A little less is forgivable and a little more is encouraged.
9. As of 11/09/15, rare dragons must be earned, rather than having a first come, first serve system. Each member is limited to three rare dragons. Find the dragon you want on this list to see if you need to meet some requirements before claiming. For the first rare dragon, you need at least 5 in-character posts. For the second rare dragon, you need at least 30 in-character posts. For the third, you need at least 100 in-character posts.
Reproduction
1. If two of your characters want to have offspring, please pm a staff member. And congratulations!
2. This site is PG-13. No graphic breeding is allowed. Fade to black, please.
3. As of right now, dragons can only breed with others of their own species. No nadder/fury crosses. Okay? Of course it's okay.
4. The number of eggs in a clutch depend on the dragon's species, health, and age.
5. The gender of hatchlings, as well as the color, will be determined at random by staff. You're welcome to let us know what you want! This goes for children as well.
6. If you don't want to play your character's offspring, post their bios in the adopted board.
7. Dragons reach breeding age at 10 years. Humans come of age at 20.
8. Humans are pregnant for four weeks in real time. Dragons are gravid (carrying eggs) for two weeks, lay them, and must care for them for three weeks until they hatch.
