So you want to adopt a character! Great!
But you'll have to keep a few things in mind.
1. These characters were created by members of the site who, for whatever reason, have fallen inactive. Some were around for more time than others. There is always the chance that they will return and ask for their characters back. But we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
2. Some character profiles are unfinished. Please consider finishing them up; don't ignore them just because they aren't done!
3. Once you've chosen a character, I'd really appreciate it if you'd send me a PM about it. Some characters are rare dragons or are crucial to the plot, so I'll have to hold auditions for them. And please don't take it personally if I choose not to give you the character. It's not because I don't like you. I love all my ferrets!
4. If I do give you permission to claim the characters, you'll have to keep them active. That's the whole point of putting them up for adoption, after all.
