Celebrity/Canon Claim: Hiccup and Tootless
What's your name? Hiccup Horrendous Haddock. The third.
How old are you? 25.
Are you a boy or a girl? Clearly, a man...
Do you have a tribe? I'm the chief of the Hairy Hooligan tribe on Berk.
Do you have any dragons? Yes, I've had Toothless for, oh... about ten years now.
I'm afraid I lost my eyesight long ago. What do you look like?
Well, I'm skinny, sort of tall. I guess I get that from my mother. I have shaggy brown hair with some little braids in it. Astrid insisted that I get some braids. Happy wife, happy life, you know. I've grown a nice beard, too, but the most noticeable thing about me is probably my peg-leg. I typically wear my flight suit because I can keep tools and things on me all the time. I always have a dagger, and my notebook, and I have to have my fire sword to tame dragons or intimidate unfriendly vikings. I've gotten a few scars over the years, but the most important one is the one on my chin from when I was a baby.
I don't have very many night furies to compare Toothless to. In fact, I've never actually seen another one. But it's safe to assume that he looks like a typical night fury: black scales, greenish-blue eyes. He's gotten a little bigger in the past five years, but I think he's done growing. The little "beard" on the bottom of his jaw has also gotten a bit longer. He's missing part of his tail, which Gobber replaced with a bit of leather. I improved it, of course. It's attached to my saddle, and I control it with my peg-leg, which is designed to lock into place when I'm riding.
Tell me a little bit about yourself.
Well, I've been told that I can be pretty sarcastic. But I care a lot about the tribe and their dragons, so I do everything I can to keep the peace. I have a lot to deal with, but whenever I can I take off and fly with Toothless. It doesn't happen very often, but it's the best thing in the world. I'm trying really hard to be like my father and make the best decisions I can for the tribe, and sometimes I get frustrated because I'm still afraid I won't be able to live up to his legacy. But I have my mom and Astrid, and most of the tribe seems to believe in me, so I get strength from them. When it comes to a fight, I use my fire sword to scare people and if that doesn't work, I guess I'll have to fight. Toothless usually does a good job of protecting me when it comes down to it. I don't like to hurt people and I'll avoid killing if I can.
Where do you come from?
I was always different growing up. I wasn't strong enough to fight dragons like the rest of the tribe, and I was much better at planning things than I was at lifting weapons. My whole life changed when I became the first viking to shoot down a night fury. I found him wrapped up in my trap, but for some reason I couldn't kill him. I felt sorry for him, I guess. Anyway I cut him loose and he ran to the cove, where he was trapped. I had to sneak away from dragon fighting training so I could observe him. It turned out he couldn't fly because he was missing part of his tail. I replaced it with one of my inventions and helped him fly again. Except that I had to fly with him. Well, things went downhill and he ended up being forced to lead my dad and the rest of the tribe to the den of a green death. I lost my leg killing that thing.
Then about five years later I had already helped a lot of dragons move in on Berk. I found my mother, and she had even more dragons in her sanctuary. We lost my father in a fight against Drago Bludvist, and he took Toothless away. He also killed my mother's bewilderbeast, which allowed him to take all of the dragons. We had to ride baby dragons home and take our dragons back. Toothless became alpha, and I became chief shortly after.
Nowadays I just break up little fights between kids and dragons, and I deal with wanderers that come to visit. Sometimes I go out and try to find new dragons, but I usually have to send people who have more time to look for me. I know Drago will come back someday. He isn't dead, and that means he'll be back, so I can't leave the island for long.
What's your main goal? To keep Berk and the dragons safe, especially if Drago ever comes back.
What are you good at? Well, let's see... I'm good at making things, saddles, armor, things like that. Berk hasn't fallen apart yet, so I guess I must be a good leader, if I do say so myself.
What sort of things do you dislike? Eels, oddly enough, and being stuck in one place. Of course I don't like it when people like Drago are in power.
